On October 30th and 31st, 2020, in São Paulo, NanoScoping participated in the Investment Circuit, the final stage of the Entrepreneur Capital Project promoted by Sebrae.
The Entrepreneur Capital Project, organized by Sebrae, aims to educate entrepreneurs of small businesses with innovative ideas for the negotiation process with investors through workshops and mentoring.
In the first stage, which began in February, the selection of innovative small businesses and startups took place. The second stage was the ‘Entrepreneur Capital Week,’ where Sebrae managers received training. The third phase involved the ‘Entrepreneur Workshop,’ where the 153 selected entrepreneurs learned about the key mechanisms of venture capital investment. The mentoring phase was the fourth part of the project, divided into two aspects: business and behavioral. In this stage, the 153 participants were guided through many hours of mentorship.
The Investment Circuit was the final stage of the Entrepreneur Capital Project. In this stage, 30 startups were selected and presented their businesses to investors from various parts of Brazil. On the first day of the event (30th), entrepreneurs visited the innovation ecosystem. On the second day (31st), they met with invited investors, where entrepreneurs had the opportunity to introduce themselves and pitch their businesses. During the conclusion of the Investment Circuit, the three winning startups were announced, receiving credentials for the Case event, held on November 28th and 29th in São Paulo. The companies Wifi.Fi (PB), URPAY (TO), and NanoScoping (SC) secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, respectively.
NanoScoping, through the Entrepreneur Capital Program, sees this opportunity as an excellent way to grow. “Our partnership with Sebrae has been ongoing since the inception of the company. We have participated in other programs, and the Investment Circuit has been a significant opportunity for our growth,” said Beatriz Veleirinho, the founder of the startup. “Sebrae’s mentoring has helped us make decisions that contributed to the maturity of the company,” she added.
