nOmegas contains a blend of active ingredients rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs), such as alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3), linoleic acid (omega-6), and arachidonic acid, encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles. It includes vegetable oils, such as flaxseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) and sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus), combined with purified essential fatty acids. The topical application of EFAs has been recommended to promote skin hydration, restoring physiological balance and the barrier function of the stratum corneum, favoring the maintenance of skin integrity. In veterinary medicine, EFAs-rich ingredients are widely used as adjuvants in the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
